I just saved a baby squirrel from a dog. What do i do?

Ok so i hear a loud screeching noise on my porch so i go outside and this friendly dog that's been around the neighborhood had caught a hold of a squirrel. i brought it inside and wrapped it in a warm towel. the squirrel looks to be a couple weeks old. it has fur and teeth but i don't know whether to feed it milk or even which kind of milk. if i feed it solid food which solid food do i feed it? the squirrel seems to be friendly and can move around and in fact was trying to crawl a wall when the dog got it. I now have the squirrel in a box and have no idea what to do with it. Please list all the suggestions that i can do because i live in a rural area so its hard to find a wildlife specialist.I just saved a baby squirrel from a dog. What do i do?
wow. i want a squirrel

squirrels like nuts, acorns, seeds and they also eat grass. water would be a good idea too... i have no idea about the milk thing but you should definitely try it. i would say regular milk... the kind that comes from cows.. the black and white and sometimes brown animals... not choc milk... regular milk that comes from cows... white milk that is regular that u would buy at da store that comes from cows... HAHA! lol... sry couldnt resist.

ummm.... you should prob have a play pen/ cage type thing with grass and wood and nature/ outdoorsy stuff instead of a box.

as soon as u can u should take the witto squirrly to a pet store or vet person... u could prob keep him/her as a pet but his/her natural habitat outside is best.

GL and have fun with yer squirrly. tell him/her that I said HI!I just saved a baby squirrel from a dog. What do i do?
The best I can offer is what NOT to do. Do not give it cows milk.

Get to a local pet store and see what they have local for you. Perhaps kitten formula.
I really hate to take this position but take it to a vets office because all rodent animals carrie zoonotic (transmissiable from animal to people)diease. They will abe able to tell you how to care for it or tell you what to do with it.
go to a wildlife rescue or humane society ASAP

also get kitten formula for it and feed a few times per day. keep him/her warm and get somewhere better than a box to live for now.
ooooo give it to my cuzzen she also has a baby squirrel and she is feeding it dog milk u gotta go to a pet store to get that kind of miik but thats only if u want to keep it

if u dont just let it go..
There's lots of information at these two websites

go to a pet store
Baby food works for almost any mammal in the short term. I would try to call your closest forest preserve, and see what they can do. A pet shop might not be the way to go, as squirrels are not common pets that they sell. But since the squirrel seems healthy, I might just let it go. Keep an eye out for the dog, put the box on its side outside, and watch from a distance to see what your little friend does. Hopefully he can get back into the full swing of nature, without any harm coming from his contact with humans (although you might made a new friend to put bird seed and corn out for :D)
