Baby squirrel!! i dont have esbilac. does any one know?

what to feed him ? some home made recipes? he is growing weak day by day. he is just 2 weeks old still pink and eyes closed.he does have very minute furr. please help out as soon as possible. i dont have esbilac or any other pet food. nor it is available here. thanksBaby squirrel!! i dont have esbilac. does any one know?
hey dont panic,squirells are not dogs to be fed with esbillac,they are not suitable for squirells,i was in ur same condition some 2 monthsback,i also have squirell.


just plain cow's milk with some little curd will do.


wht do u have to do is,it will be best to get normal cows milk,boil it,and add a drop of fresh curd to it.


at this age,he must be able to drink 1ml of milk with one drop of curd in it.sometimes,what happens is,their mother's milk is thicker than cow's milk,so you can add a pinch of lactogen1(baby milk formula for human babies)and they can become a bit healthy with it.


pink babies need to be fed once in every 2 hours,take care to feed them properly,at this age only milk must be given,nothing else.

looks like from what u say,u can just give him milk with curd for every 2 hrs.


since they are very small animals,its very easy for them to get milk into their nostrils which will cause them with lung problems,so take care to feed him drop by drop,usually an ink filler will be best to start with,as u can have better control of the flow.practice with water and then feed him,also too much of milk all at once can choke him,so just give him drop by drop.Baby squirrel!! i dont have esbilac. does any one know?
If there is no other option, you can make your own by combining 1 teaspoon salt with 3 tablespoons sugar in 1 quart of warm water. It is extremely important to warm the babies first, then re-hydrate them before starting them on any formula,. When giving any liquid the temperature of the liquid should be luke warm, never hot and never cold.



The best thing to do would be to take it to a local wildlife rehab. they know how to take care of animals and have the resources to do so.
