How Should We Take Care of a Injured Baby Squirrel?

We found a injured baby squirrel that had fallen out of a tree. She has her baby teeth, but we don't know how old she is. What should we do to care for her. She is bleeding out of her nose a little bit but can still move around. We gave her some warm milk and cleaned her up and stuck her in a box with some towels to keep her warm. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to take care of her (what should we feed her, how many times, how much? etc. etc.)

the milk is okay you should wash it with medium water. i dont know what to feed it tho. i think you should take it to an animal shelter. they will know what to do.
remember its a wild animal
Okay, I've taken care of squirrels for several years, and rehabilitating them is a very difficult task. You can do it though, I promise. Depending on the size of the squirrel, you will have to feed it differently. If it doesn't have all of it's fur yet, you need to feed it every hour on the hour. If it is smaller than the size of a coaster but has fur, it needs to be fed every two hours. If it is larger than that, you should be fine feeding it every 5 hours.

Use an eyedropper and feed it milk. Any kind of milk is fine, but whole milk is the best because it has the most fat in it, which they need to grow. It may mean having to set your alarm every hour on the hour to feed it, but it's worth it- I promise. Put some peanuts in there with him. Open them for him, though. If he can eat solid food then you won't have to give him milk except for maybe every 5 hours.

Milk is the most important thing you can feed the baby!!

The setting you made up for him sounds perfect, if he's really that small- maybe put a heating pad underneath the box to keep him warm.

If all of this is too much trouble, look up a nearby animal rescue league that could possibly take him in.
