How to feed baby squirrel???

i had 2 little squirrel .may be 20 days old or less.they fell off the tree or roof.i found them in ma yard.so brought them in.when i gave them water they started drinking as if they had never drunk it for month........they ate apple,banana as wel.........bt after 3 days they refused to eat,drink.......i did not understand wt happened .......bt i kept trying......bt after 8 days both died.........can anyby suggest how to feed them so that i can do better next time in my life if i get a chance to feed them as i m feeling very very guilty.i could nt save them....plz plz suggest.................How to feed baby squirrel???
What you did was against the law. To do what you did you need to have a wildlife rehab license.





Why?





They require it to prevent people from taking animals out of the wild left and right or trying to help and only making it worse. Your heart might have been in the right place but clearly you did not know what you were doing and they died. The only people who should be caring for them is the mother or professionals who know what they are doing.





Next time do the right thing by call your local zoo or department of natural resources and they will give you rehab centers in the area that can take them.

I found one and was told they had to be fed every four hours until they were older and that its some kind of milk you feed them every 4 hours. I think they said it had to be either non fat or whole milk . Im sry but thats the best i can remember i was like 12. Look it up on google if you can or ask a vet.
