Found a baby Squirrel! Help?

Okay, so I found this little guy the First of this month.. Typical squirrel that fell out of his mommy's nest. He was all alone, in the Middle of the street, cold, hungry, sleepy..

So, I've had him for quite a good while. I have been feeding him Goats milk, since it was recommended by some lady who takes care of Wild Animals like: Monkeys/horses, etc..

He's probably around 2.5 weeks old.

My mom aspirated him, and Now he has ';Pneumonia';

He's making clicking sounds with his throat, breathing out of his mouth sometimes, and sounds like he has a runny nose :[

Is there Any treatment, medicine, that I could give him?

I'm really worried for him.. and there is no Wildlife center that would take him..

Please, Please! help, I need him to survive..

Any advice would be Great!Found a baby Squirrel! Help?
omg how precious, take him to your local vet, they will help the squirrel. Good luck, I hope he makes it.Found a baby Squirrel! Help?
I know your heart is in the right place but please listen to me! He needs to be with a wildlife rehabilitator! I volunteer for a wildlife center and see this scenario all the time and the squirrel is who will pay. Even if he looks good now there a million reasons why he should be taken to a licensed rehabilitator! Here's just a few 1. if he gets the wrong stuff he'll his bones won't grow right and he'll die young 2. that's if he even makes it to adulthood which there's an even better chance he won't 3. he needs to be wild not a pet and he won't be that unless he's raised with other squirrels 4. WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL!!!!! 5. squirrels easily aspirate when you don't know what you are doing. they have special nipples for them and when they do they need to be on antibiotics!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to be harsh but I'm just being honest. I know you care about him but caring about him enough to let him be wild and go to a licensed rehabber who has the resources, knowledge, vet care, license to take care of him is what he needs! thank you for caring and please listen! there's a lot of bad information on the web so I wouldn't trust the internet either!
If you are already feeding him goat milk, stick with it. You cant change the milk just because this one is cheaper than that one. Once you start feeding it a certain type just stick with it. Aside from that, I'm not sure how to fix his runny nose. I've never been in that situation. But good luck with your squirrel. :-)
He is soo cute.

take him to the vet for the medicine.

here is a website to help you:

try giving him a small dose of amoxicillin. and keep him warm and dont let anyone smoke around him and yes goats milk is great so would kitten milk which either can be bought at wal-mart but get the liquid not powder altho kitten milk can get a little costly...hope he survives...

also on the amoxi. dose should be about 1cc every 6 hours or so..be sure not to give to much or to little..hope this helps
can i sleep with you
Everything kaileym said is true. We need more people in this world like you who care, but he -needs- to go to a licensed wild rehabilitator!! If you don't know what you're doing it could end up very badly, especially if he has Pneumonia and you're giving him antibiotics. You shouldn't be the one handling this because you don't know what to give him or how much and I wouldn't trust the internet or the people on it to tell you. It's also true that he should be raised with other squirrels or he could get very mixed up. And it is illegal to keep a wild animal over 24 hours. If someone found out he would be taken away and probably put now.

I volunteer with a licensed wild rehabilitator we mostly deal with squirrels. I have seen far too many times what can happen to animals when people who have all the right intentions, but don't know what they're doing. The animals are the ones that suffer. There are many things that can go wrong. I know he's cute to hold and take pictures with and you want to be the one to save him and raise him, but give him to someone who knows what they're doing!
