How do you take care of a baby squirrel? We found one and are feeding it watered down milk for now?

baby squirrels are a lot of work, call a wildlife rescue or rehabilitation center and let them do it so he can be released back into the wild and properly cared for. it seems like a good idea to raise it yourself but it is better for the squirrel if it can be looked after properly then released back to the wildHow do you take care of a baby squirrel? use KMR (purchased at a petstore, it's kitten formula) not milk. do your research to find out how many times a day it needs to be fed %26amp; you may have to stimulate it to make it pee or poop...it's mother would. but taking it to a wildlife rescue or sanctuary is by far the best choice.
Call your local vet and explain the situation. We had some babies before, and a rehabilitator took them, and both survived and are safely back in the wild. Please don't try and keep it or let it go!
