Found a baby squirrel?

It looks uninjured, but skinny. I know I shouldn't feed it, but how can I get it to take pedialyte? any other info would be appreciatedFound a baby squirrel?
first make sure the baby is warm


next .. pick up the squirrel and stimulate him to potty..


next.. mix up some sugar water.. one part sugar to 3 parts warm water.. hold the baby in a blanket.. and give him the sugar water w/ a syringe..


do not feed him cows milk or goats milk.. or human milk.. it will kill him


baby squirrels need esbilac.. the powdered kind.. not the liquid..





but you need to contact a rehabber in your area..


they squirrel needs to be raised and released w/ others .

and.. no pedialyte.. he does not need the all the extra crap in it..


now.. if he is dehydrated from diarrhea.. then yes.. pedialyte would be okay..


but im assuming he is dehydrated from starvation.. if thats the case... sugar water.

When I found a nest of baby squirrels, I fed them some kitten milk from a bottle and they were all very happy. When they are weaned, they should be released into the wild again so they can return to their instincts. Keeping them too long will keep them from surviving in the outdoor world.
If you call a local animal shelter they will direct you to the nearest rehabilitation center.The center will teach it to be a squirrel and then release it back into the wild. I have done this before. You should leave it in one of those rabbit water dispensers on the side of the cage. You should also see what squirrels like to eat and put that in a bowl.
i found a bag of hairless creatures and we thought they were puppies. i called the animal control -or whateva- and they turned out to be squirrels. calling animal control's your best bet
