I found a baby squirrel (bout 8-9 weeks old)He has a small cut on his foot and he is limpin. What should i do?

He has all of his fur, teeth, and his eyes are opened. Im taking him to a vet so they can look at him. I have him rapped in a towel. As an emergency, you could try a pet store or feed store, but unless you get lucky, no one probably knows about baby abandoned squirrels. The vet is probably the same way: they can look at his foot and figure out whats wrong, but they studied Dog and Cat medicine, and few specialize in smaller animals and reptiles. Your vet can, however, get you in touch with the Game and Fish department or a rehab center where they will nurse the squirrel back to health and teach him the necessary skills to return to the wild. If you try to take care of him yourself, he may become dependent for you for food and never be able to return to nature.

I gave milk+horlicks+water,dates.dried grapes wen my pet squirrels is 9 months.Dnt give direct milk add some water becos it has no well developed digestion as its a baby squirrel.Give some fruits like grapes,groundnuts,tomato,walnuts

after it get cured and well grown means just drop down near to tree.Nw dont drop anywhere it dnt know how to do anything or it dont know how to protect itself.





if he cured means he will try to build nest.hence he need threads,woolen,and coconut threads

you can take him to the vets office. You can also go to petsmart and ask animal experts. You can go to the feed store if you live around one. At a pet store there will be milk replacement formulas for animals and little bottles. He is probably hungry. I would go to the vet. that will be the best bet.
If you are in the UK and it's a grey squirrel.... kill it. If you are in the USA... don't let it come to the UK!
In Texas we have something called Texas Wild Life %26amp; Rescue, I'm sure there is some type of version of that in your state as well. Take it there ASAP.
if u can take care of it u itself keep it or go to a pet or veterinary clinic and give treatment or place the squirrel in a place safe away from predators....
give it to the animal shelter





you know you're not cut out to raise a baby squirrel
bring it to the vets!
