We found a baby squirrel, what should we do?

My dog found a dead squirrel the other day, and the next day we saw two baby squirrels running around on our deck, looking at us (it wasn't scared of us). I put out some apple and one squirrel went and ate it really fast (I don't think they know how to fend for themselves, it's living under our deck). Also, the other squirrel has not been seen since Thanksgiving, when it got stuck in our window well (must have crawled out and ran away). WHAT DO I DO?We found a baby squirrel, what should we do?
Unless you are willing to devote time to raising the animals which likely require milk and other food, I would call animal control or even your local animal shelter (unlikely, but worth a try).....

Either keep putting out foods or call the shelter....Putting out food, you will find that the animals will remain wild while you will continue to have the opportunity to interact with them over the next few years as they stop by to visit and you may be able to hand feed them

We found a baby squirrel, what should we do?
Once my cats almost killed a baby squirrel and we kept it and nursed it back to health. If you just leave the squirrels there, they probably would die. I think you should keep it for a couple months and when it gets old enough to fend for itself, you should release it. That's what we did.
Take it under your wing for a while, squirrels are quite cute. Although you may not want it in your house it can live on your deck as long as you provide apples, nuts, acorns,or even bread. But eventually it will need to learn to fend for itself.
I have raised three since last year and you need to take it in and feed it Cat formula through a rubber seringe. Make sure you have a heating pad or heating device that wont get too hot.
squirrels fend for themselves at about one week of age. let them go and explore. they will find their way and make it. they dont need parents all their lives, like most of us do.
You should make squirrel melts!!!

If they aren't old enough to survive on their own, call a nature center in your area and they should be able to take them or tell you where to take them.
Call your nearest Wildlife Rescue and see what they can do about them... Also, just keep doing what you're doing.
phone the rspca nd ask them what to do

the number is 0300 1234 999. its their advice line. open 24 hours

hope i helped at least a bit XD
normally people let them out in the woods, or you could try to take it to a local vet eventually.
Do a search on the internet for ';Squirrel Stew';.
Leave them alone! They will take care of themselves!
abduct it
Teach it to love.
just put some food out for them
leave it ALONE! lol
