How do I care for a 5 week old baby squirrel?

It had fleas, I patted a little of flea powder. Eats on it's own and drinks out of hamster bottle.

What can I do to provide better care and environmental safe area? I don 't have any experience in caring for a squirrel and

look forward to properly taking care of my new pet.How do I care for a 5 week old baby squirrel?

Take it to a Wildlife Rehabber. Here is a website so you can look up one in your area. I worked with a squirrel rehabber and the need specialized care. Never, ever, just release an animal into the wild. It won't have the ability to fend for itself and find food. A rehabber will acclimate it to the wild before it's release.

A baby squirrel? Did it fall out of a nest or something? My neighbors have baby squirrels fall out of nests every now and then. They are cute at first, but you should take some action while it is young. Squirels are not friendly creatures and grow very vicious. Raise it carefully as it is young in a small enclosure inside. Feed it bread soaked with milk until it gets old, then, depending on its health, either let it free, or feed it pinecones and corn and pretty much anything. Have it drink water from a small pet water bottle at the pet stores. Just in case, always keep it indoors.
I recommend that you get it straight away to a Wildlife center. You might be all smiles now, but the squirrel won't be as it grows up. The squirrel won't be able to take care of itself because you have always nurtured it. You might think it's a pet, but it's not. These things belong in the wild. And as harsh as it might be, it's not to be a pet. Also, what if when you used flea powder, it hurt the squirrel? Squirrels arn't cats or dogs, and they are not tame. You also don't know if they have a hidden disease.
OMG. A squirrel? My god. If you found it abandoned outside, bring it to a wildlife center! I honestly don't care about the cartoon called Squirrel Boy. SQUIRRELS BELONG IN THE WILD. I highly doubt that anyone has ANY experience taking care of a squirrel. And I highly doubt that a squirrel can be domesticated. they are cute, but not the greatest pets.
dude!? WTF!? A SQUIRELL CAN NOT BE YOUR PET. omg, bring it to a wildlife center. if you take care of it wont be able to fend for itself or live a normal squirrell life. stupid.

also, wittykit is a moron. you dont have ';experience'; taking care of a squirell. there not ment to be pets, its harsh. plsu what if the squirell has diseases? or what if it bites you? its not a dog!
squirrels are very sensitive so you might want to find a local wildlife rehab center and take him there. Def. KEEP HIM WARM! They have all the resources and staff that can care for him. If you are deciding to keep him/her (i've seen it b4) i would suggest a lot of research!

UGH. I Hate it when people take in wild animals as 'pets'.

If they were ment to be pets they'd be sold in a pet store.

It cruel, and unless you plan on letting it go, take it to a wild life centre.
Very cool . look on line for squirrel care.

most pet stores will have food for them
