I find a baby squirrel?

You have a few choices here. You can call animal control and have them come and get it and most assuredly it will be put down simply due to a ';possible'; injury.

Squirrels are so rampant in most areas that animal control officers are instructed to put them down immediately, which can be done in the cage quarters of the vehicle with a simple injection.

If this isn't the route you want to go and feel this little fella can possibly be saved and isn't in pain then I would contact a squirrel rehab.

Here is a link that will let you know where the rehabs are in your area http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.鈥?/a>

In the meantime here is a link to a group that will show you what to feed, how to feed, how to treat injuries etc.

Both the above sites I listed are from links from this site: http://www.geocities.com/crawdadcreekreh鈥?/a>

I hope this helps, make sure you check his breathing and see if it is labored or if it seems raspy. Those combined with the possible leg injury could indeed be signs of being hit by a car and bleeding internally in which case you want to get the little guy help immediately otherwise, he will suffer.I find a baby squirrel?
call your local human society or animal shelter they have programs where they help then release wild animals caught by people.
Call a local vet. Vets are known for only dogs and other house pets but they also work with raccoons, squirrels, etc. Bring the animal to the vet and let them deal with it. You did a good thing with taking the squirrel into your care. It's dangerous for a baby anything to be wounded in the world with street cats and cars and other people around.
Call animal control or a humane society in your area to find out what wildlife rehab organizations there are in your area. In the meantime, you can get some ';KMR'; for kittens (formula) from a pet store and use an eye dropper to feed with.

Make sure to feed every few hrs and after each feeding take a slightly warm cotton ball or soft cloth and massage where the squirrel where it would go to the bathroom, # 1, then # 2. You have to do this with baby animals because they need help to go to the bathroom for the first few weeks or so.
call wild care, or a local animal shelter. it depends where you live.
If it were me, and no offense to any animal lovers but I would let the cats eat it, just me though
Call some one who does wildlife pest removal. They usually humanly trap animals like that and know where to take them for rehabilitation.
Call and check with animal control. Some towns have vet clinics that will care for injured or found wild animals. Animal control should be able to put you in contact with those places.
Your local animal control/shelter/humane society should be able to take the animal off of your hands.

However, you can also call and try to bring the animal into one of your local veterinary offices. In many cases, they will be able to help the animal and possibly get in touch with a rehabilitation/center.

As for feeding, I provided a link here:
